Ok. Secret’s out. I’m The Great Word Nerd, AKA Salina Jivani. And yes, I truly am a nerd. As a mommy to two beautiful, sweet but demanding girls, I cherish the dark hours of night, during which I’m able to craft creative articles, short stories and posts and also immerse myself in amazing books.
I’ve written three novels, which you can find in the “Books by me” tab and am working on my fourth, which I hope to publish in the later part of 2017. What else makes me a word nerd? Well, let’s see. I worked as an editor in chief for Dare Publishing, a proposal writer and lead editor for Bank of America, and quit my corporate job in 2015 to pursue a full-time freelance blogging and writing career. I currently edit for Radish Fiction, WikiHow and am a writer for VEU magazine.
They say every blogger/writer has a dream. Mine is to spend my summers lounging at the poolside (preferably in Bora Bora) as I churn out clever, quirky, million-dollar articles (I know, I know, go ahead and laugh it out. Maybe one day I’ll send you a postcard 😉
In the meantime, I’m trying to help other bloggers and writers who hope to achieve their dreams and aspirations of becoming a blazing success. Life’s short and we’ve all got dreams. lf I can make a difference in the life of even one person, I’ll be a happy little worm 🙂
